Carrie Nigro began her career with AWG in 2010 working in our Traffic department managing inbound loads. She quickly rose through the department in positions of increasing responsibility. Carrie is one of the unsung heroes behind the scenes insuring product is received in our warehouses as expected to meet our Member’s needs. Carrie understands the challenges faced by our retailers and is passionate about personal growth and learning. She brings an extensive knowledge of transportation, warehousing and the supply chain processes to the Learning and Development department.
Prior to AWG, Carrie was a Retail Store Human Resource Manager for Home Depot. Carrie was responsible for all aspects of HR, but most importantly, she was a corporate district trainer. Also responsible for on boarding new employees and supervisors she understands the challenges faced in a retail environment. Additionally, Carrie managed the online learning for all employees in the store. As AWG’s LMS (Learning Management System) administrator, Carrie plays an integral role developing our training programs internally and externally.
